The IES Monastil is a public secondary school located in Elda, a 60.000 inhabitant industrial town in the province of Alicante (Valencian Community) in the east of Spain, by the Mediterranean Sea.
IES Monastil is member of ADIESPV, the association of Headmasters of public schools in the Valencian Community in Spain. The school has experience in project working and is a perfect partner as a critical friend to the participating inspectorates. The subject is very close to the strategic lines they are developing as a school with the "Stick Together, stand against discrimination" Erasmus+ Multilateral Association that is clearly connected with the topic of the BIBESOIN project.

The ‘stick together’-project – Stand against discrimination in the EU:
This three-year long Association has three other partners in addition to IES MONASTIL: the Staatl Fachoberschule from Fürth (Alemania), the Debreceni SZC Bethlen Gábor from Debrecen (Hungría) and the Liceo Garibaldi from Marsala (Italia). These will be associated partners of BIBESOIN. The objectives addressed by this school partnership make a contribution to reach the EU policy priority of an inclusive education because in a society in which humans take responsibility for themselves and others by standing up in situations of discrimination, they can improve the inclusion of different people.

Concerning the previous experience of their staff, they have a wide range of experience in European Educational Programmes for over a decade. They have taken part in extensive formative programmes, courses, job shadowing, study visits, preparatory meetings and both Comenius and Leonardo da Vinci projects.
