Adrian Gray, the former SICI EC member who wrote the book on ‘European School Inspection and Evaluation: History and Principles’ in partnership with SICI has started developing sections of this into video form for YouTube. The first section covers inspection from its origins up until 1914 and includes a number of issues that are still relevant today, for example whether inspectors should  be independent or not from government.
Adrian is currently involved in inspection as specialist adviser to the UK Parliament Education Select Committee and also as an adviser to some other nations.
