By registering to- and participating in online meetings of SICI, you agree to the following terms and conditions, which comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This document outlines how we handle your data and the choices available to you regarding its use.

We collect and process your personal data for the purpose of conducting and managing the meeting.
This includes:

• Your name, email address (required for registration)
• Audio, video, and chat messages (if applicable). 
• Meeting participation logs

We process your data based on legitimate interest, contractual necessity, or explicit consent, depending on the nature of the meeting.

Some meetings may be recorded for documentation, training, dissemination through video sharing platforms (e.g. YouTube) or compliance purposes. This will be announced before and during the meeting.

If you do not consent to being recorded, you may be required to mute your microphone, disable your camera, and/or refrain from using the chat.

Your data may be shared with:

• Internal teams and departments for administrative purposes
• External partners or service providers when necessary (e.g., transcription services)
• Regulatory authorities, if required by law

You have the right to:

• Access, correct, or delete your personal data
• Restrict or object to processing
• Withdraw consent at any time
