SICI PROJECT ON THE HISTORY AND PRINCIPLES OF SCHOOL INSPECTION IN EUROPE

SICI is planning to publish a book outlining the development of school inspection across Europe and reflecting on the most important ideas and principles that can be learnt from this. The aim is to produce a book that will be a good general introduction to the subject for inspectors, policy makers and school leaders. Our intention is that this book could also form a helpful introduction for new inspectors. This project is being led by Adrian Gray. He is interested in any support that can be offered to ensure we have a balanced coverage of inspection as it developed in each country, but has limited access to non-English sources. If you think you can help, or know of individuals in your countries with an interest in inspection history, then please contact Adrian.gray@rivereducation.co.uk
